WELCOME!

Cooking and baking has been a life-long passion for me and pizza has been a constant companion to this journey. I never seem to grow tired of the universe of possibility that can come from so few, basic ingredients. Pizza is a uniquely personal experience and everyone is going to bring their own flair to the process.

I have been teaching classes on the making of pizza for close to two decades. I have been making pizza for even longer than that. My goal is to help share the knowledge and experience I have gained in an effort to de-mystify the process and make it accessible for everyone. Please feel free to explore this site and try out any recipes that catch your interest. And if you're going to be in the area, sign up for a class!

Most importantly, remember that food and cooking is supposed to bring happiness and contentment to our lives. It's supposed to bring us together and provide something to bond over and make connections over whatever your dinner table might be. The most successful cooks are the ones who are willing to roll with the mistakes and missteps and allow themselves to enjoy the food for what it is. 

Empty your mind, be formless, shapeless — like water. Now you put water in a cup, it becomes the cup; You put water into a bottle it becomes the bottle; You put it in a teapot it becomes the teapot. Now water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend.
